A small, design-led residential practice in Central London is seeking an experienced Part II Architectural Assistant or a qualified Architect to join its close-knit studio. The practice specialises in high-end, bespoke residential architecture and places exceptional importance on design quality, craftsmanship, and hands-on exploration through physical models and 3D visualisation.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior architects across all stages of carefully crafted projects, from early concept design through to delivery, within a collaborative and supportive studio environment.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and delivery of bespoke residential projects from concept to completion.
Develop designs through sketches, physical models, and iterative 3D studies.
Produce high-quality 2D drawings using AutoCAD (MicroStation experience beneficial).
Create detailed 3D models and visualisations using SketchUp and V-Ray; Revit experience is advantageous.
Prepare presentation material, including visuals and models, for client meetings.
Attend client meetings and site visits, supporting project delivery and design intent.
Work closely with the studio team to maintain design quality throughout all project stages.
Skills & Experience
Experienced Part II or ARB-registered Architect with a strong design-led portfolio.
Demonstrated experience on high-quality residential projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; strong visualisation skills essential.
Confident in producing presentation-quality imagery and physical models.
Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for bespoke architecture.
Personable, collaborative, and comfortable working within a small studio environment.
