Summary
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and design-focused Architect with 3+ years of post Part III experience to join our team in South West London. Our firm specializes in high-end residential housing projects and offers a fantastic opportunity for an ARB qualified Architect to showcase their creativity and design expertise. Key responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee individual private as well as residential projects from concept to completion.
- Provide site assistance and project coordination for seamless execution and compliance with construction plans and regulations.
- Utilize your strong design skills to create innovative and visually appealing solutions for residential and mixed-use projects.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Produce construction NBS specifications and construction detailing, demonstrating your technical expertise and knowledge of current construction methods.
- Utilize software tools such as Vectorworks (2D/3D), SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and Rhino for project development and design visualization.
- Manage project finances and budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, providing mentorship and guidance when needed.
- Stay updated with UK building regulations and planning policies to ensure compliance in all projects.
Skills and qualifications:
- RIBA Part III qualified Architect.
- Minimum of 5 years of UK practice experience.
- Proven experience in managing and running residential and mixed-use projects.
- Ideally, experience in management and training.
- Knowledge of UK building regulations and planning policies.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and budget restrictions.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Experience in project financial management and budgeting.
- Strong technical expertise and knowledge of current construction methods.
- Excellent design skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Vectorworks (2D/3D), SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and Rhino.
- 3D modeling experience.
