Architect Role Summary
This forward-thinking architecture practice in Berkshire is on the lookout for a talented Architect with strong technical flair and a planning-savvy mindset. You’ll be driving projects from early-stage strategy through to construction, solving complex compliance puzzles and leading design delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead the production of fully compliant drawings using Revit and BIM tools
Guide planning submissions, design reports and coordination with consultants
Tackle Building Regs, CDM and Building Safety Act requirements head-on
Engage confidently with clients and regulatory bodies
Manage project delivery through RIBA Stages 3–5
Own the technical side – from spec writing to construction detailing
Handle compliance reports, fire trackers and risk assessments like a pro
Coordinate teams and mentor junior staff with clarity and confidence
What You’ll Bring:
ARB-registered Architect with 2–4 years post-Part 3 UK experience
Expert in UK Building Regulations, NPPF, and planning policy
Strong leadership skills with a knack for problem-solving
Advanced Revit and CAD skills – fluent in visualising and delivering
Clear communicator, confident in leading meetings and design reviews
Experience in residential or mixed-use schemes a big plus
Detail-oriented, independent, and ready to own your projects
