Location: Oxford (Hybrid – 9-day fortnight)
Architect Role Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Architect/Part II to join a renowned practice specialising in high-end residential and heritage projects. We are looking for a talented architect with a keen design eye and a strong background in high-end residential design, particularly on small-scale projects. The role will offer a mix of job running responsibilities and client-facing interactions, making it ideal for someone comfortable in a client-facing role who enjoys delivering exceptional homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and managing high-end residential projects from concept to completion
Working closely with clients, offering excellent communication and attention to detail
Collaborating with a small, dynamic team to deliver innovative, high-quality design solutions
Contributing to the development of architectural details with precision and a strong design aesthetic
Assisting with heritage projects, including listed building works, if relevant
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential: Strong experience in high-end residential and small-scale projects
Desirable: Experience with listed buildings (though not essential)
Good design sensibility and a meticulous attention to detail
Strong communication skills, especially with high-end residential clients
Job-running experience and comfort with client-facing responsibilities
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; Adobe Suite experience is also essential
Willingness to embrace ArchiCAD as the practice transitions to this software (training will be provided)
