Salary Guide: £45,000 – £55,000 (DOE)
Are you a design-conscious Architect with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience, ready to deepen your expertise in complex commercial retrofit projects?
We’re representing a highly respected, design-led architectural practice known for thoughtful, carefully crafted architecture and rigorous technical delivery. The studio specialises in the renewal and reinvention of existing buildings, delivering bespoke commercial and mixed-use schemes across Central London.
This is an opportunity to join a growing London team working on ambitious retrofit projects where sustainability, intelligent reuse, and exceptional detailing are central to the practice’s ethos.
The Role
You will play a key role in the technical design and delivery of commercial retrofit schemes, contributing across all RIBA Stages. Working closely with associates and directors, you will support the coordination and development of complex projects from planning through to construction.
The role demands strong technical capability and confidence in producing high-quality, coordinated drawing packages.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop innovative retrofit solutions for complex commercial buildings
Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure coordinated and seamless project delivery
Produce high-quality, accurate architectural documentation using Revit and MicroStation
Translate client briefs into thoughtful, buildable architectural proposals
Monitor project progress through regular site visits, proactively resolving design and coordination challenges as they arise
Skills & Experience
2–3 years’ post-qualification experience (ARB registered)
Strong technical design ability and experience delivering built projects
Experience in commercial retrofit or complex refurbishment preferred
Proficiency in Revit is essential and MicroStation is beneficial
Experience delivering projects in the UK
Detail-focused with strong coordination skills
Confident communicator within a collaborative team environment
Proactive and solutions-driven mindset
