We are recruiting for an architect / senior architect on behalf of a leading design studio for a major healthcare and research project delivering a world-class neuroscience and clinical facility in London.
The scheme brings together neuroscience research, hospital functions, and public-facing spaces within a single highly complex building, alongside the sensitive refurbishment and reuse of a heritage structure.
The project is currently onsite and progressing through construction, with completion targeted for 2027.
Role Overview
Opportunity for an Architect / Senior Architect to join a live, large-scale healthcare and research project at a key delivery stage, supporting technical design coordination within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of complex healthcare and research design packages
- Coordinate technical design across consultants and stakeholders
- Work across new build and heritage refurbishment elements
- Support construction-stage design development and resolution
- Liaise with design teams, contractor, and specialist consultants
- Maintain design intent through delivery
Requirements
- Experience in healthcare, research, or complex institutional projects
- Strong Stage 3–5 / technical design experience
- Confident working in live project / onsite environments
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Heritage experience advantageous
