Senior Bid Manager Role Summary:
An international Architectural practice is seeking an experienced Architectural Senior Bid Manager to join their team and secure new business in the EMEA region. The role involves overseeing the bidding process across the Middle Eastern and European markets.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the submission of high-quality proposals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Architectural Bid Manager to work within a Bid team, both in the UK and Hong Kong while liaising with sub-consultants, project leaders, and internal teams to create winning proposals. This role is office-based in London or Edinburgh.
Senior Bid Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the bidding process, from start to finish.
- Work closely with the Bid team, in the UK and Hong Kong.
- Prepare comprehensive tender submissions, including pre-qualifications and requests for proposals.
- Maintain and organise bid submission files on the server to ensure smooth and efficient access.
- Regularly update bid materials and ensure the integrity of all documentation.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Principal and Project Teams to gather and compile the required information for bid submissions.
- Ensure all bids produced are in line with company brand guidelines and templates.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding bid activities within the EMEA region.
- Provide administrative support to the bid team, managing the bid portal and opportunity databases to ensure streamlined operations.
Senior Bid Manager Qualifications & Experience:
- 8+ years of proven experience as a Bid Manager in Architecture.
- Fluent in InDesign and MS Office.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, with proficiency in Chinese being highly advantageous.
- Experience working with or in international markets, particularly the Middle East or Europe, is beneficial.
