Salary Guide: £30,000 – £37,000

Summary

We are seeking an experienced architectural technician who is proficient in AutoCAD to work on high-end residential projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting architects and project managers in the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents for residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify architectural drawings, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with architects and project managers to ensure that design specifications and client requirements are met.
• Ensure that all drawings and documents are accurate, complete, and conform to established standards and codes.
• Create detailed tender and construction packages, including construction detail drawings, services drawings, finishes/ironmongery schedules, room elevations, and joinery elevations/details
• Attend project meetings as required and assist with the resolution of technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with project team members, contractors, and clients.
  Assist with site visits and field measurements as required.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting and design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, with experience using Revit an asset.
• Knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Availability to work on high-end residential projects, which may require occasional overtime or weekend work.
