The Architectural Technician Role:
The Architecural Technician will be responsible for producing drawing sets across all project stages, ensuring precision and consistency throughout.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting GA plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details
- Creating and updating drawing packages for tender and construction
- Supporting the team with drawing coordination and consultant integration
- Maintaining office CAD standards and templates
- Managing drawing issue logs and file organisation
- Occasional site visits to check dimensions and coordinate with contractors
About You:
- 2+ years’ experience in a CAD-based technician role within architecture or interiors
- Excellent AutoCAD or Vectorworks skills (Vectorworks preferred but not essential)
- Strong knowledge of UK building construction and joinery detailing
- Ability to read and interpret design intent from concept visuals or sketches
- Great organisation and communication skills
- Experience working on high-end residential or boutique commercial projects is a bonus
