Architectural Technologist Role Summary
A brilliant opportunity for a technically focused Architectural Technologist to join a design-led practice in Berkshire, working across exciting high-density residential projects from design through to delivery. What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead technical design from RIBA Stages 3–7
Deliver full drawing packages using Revit and BIM
Oversee compliance with UK Building Regs, CDM, and material specs
Liaise confidently with contractors, consultants, and building control
Conduct site inspections and manage audits
Own construction detailing, clash resolution, and spec coordination
Support planning applications with strong technical input
Help shape technical standards and mentor junior staff
About You:
Degree-qualified in Architectural Technology
ACIAT/MCIAT or working towards
Strong residential project experience – ideally high-density housing
Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination
Confident running jobs on site and in the studio
Deep understanding of UK regs, detailing, and spec writing
Clear communicator who enjoys collaboration across teams
