HAUS Careers is is looking to appoint a technically strong Architectural Technologist to join the implementation team of a well-established, design-led London architecture practice.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected studio delivering large residentially led schemes across the UK. The practice has a strong technical reputation and a collaborative culture, with clear processes and high quality standards across all projects.
The Role
You will play a key role in the technical delivery of residential schemes from RIBA Stage 3 onwards, working closely with Associate Directors and Directors to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Executing project work as directed by senior leadership in collaboration with assigned team members
Preparing tender and technical design packages and detailed specifications
Attending external project meetings as required
Contributing to internal design reviews and team meetings
Engaging with suppliers to obtain technical information specific to project requirements
Reporting all project related developments to the Associate Director
Working alongside the Head of BIM and senior team members to develop and enhance BIM standards, detail libraries and office master specifications
Maintaining CIAT membership and adhering to the CIAT Code of Conduct
Ensuring compliance with the practice’s Quality Management System
About You
We are seeking a driven and technically focused Architectural Technologist with at least two years’ experience working on residentially-led schemes.
You will ideally have:
CIAT accreditation
Proven experience delivering large residential projects in the UK from RIBA Stage 3 onwards
Strong knowledge of NBS Chorus specification system
Good working knowledge of Revit
Sound understanding of current UK Building Regulations
The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong technical portfolio demonstrating detailing ability and large-scale residential experience will be essential.
