Associate Architect Role Summary

A leading London architecture studio is seeking an exceptional Associate Architect to join its senior team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven professional to lead high-profile projects and play a key role in both design and studio management. As Associate Architect, you’ll lead the design and delivery of complex projects using Revit, manage talented multidisciplinary teams, and work closely with clients and consultants.

The Role:

  • Operate as a senior Associate Architect overseeing major UK-based projects from concept to delivery

  • Lead and coordinate teams using advanced Revit workflows across all RIBA stages

  • Shape and steer design processes, aligning with the studio’s creative vision

  • Communicate confidently with clients and consultants, taking full ownership of project strategy and delivery

  • Guide project programming, team resourcing, and deliverables using Revit to ensure precision and efficiency

  • Collaborate with directors and support wider studio goals as a core leadership figure

  • Take an active role in technical development, ensuring accuracy and consistency of outputs in Revit

  • Champion studio culture while promoting design excellence and delivery quality

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience at senior level or as an Associate Architect in a UK-based architecture practice

  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale projects (£50m–£200m) through all stages

  • Strong conceptual and technical background with hands-on Revit project delivery experience

  • Proficient in developing, managing, and reviewing drawing packages and specifications in Revit

  • Proven track record managing teams and mentoring junior staff using collaborative Revit platforms

  • Familiarity with UK Building Regulations, construction detailing, and delivery documentation

  • Confident presenting internally and externally, leading client meetings and design reviews

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, with a passion for visually communicating ideas

  • Organised, clear communicator and strong team motivator
