An established and design-led architectural practice based in North London is seeking an Associate Director to join its growing team. This studio is recognised for its thoughtful, context-driven work across a wide range of sectors.
This is a senior leadership opportunity offering genuine potential for growth within the practice, alongside the chance to play a key role in shaping a new and significant project currently at an early stage.
The Role
You will take a leading position within the studio, overseeing projects from concept through to delivery, while mentoring teams and contributing to strategic direction. The role requires both strong design sensibility and proven delivery experience across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects across all RIBA stages
- Manage and mentor project teams
- Act as a key client contact and represent the practice externally
- Contribute to business development and studio growth
- Oversee design quality and technical delivery

- Arts & cultural buildings

- Commercial & mixed-use developments

Skills & Experience
- Significant post-qualification experience in a UK-based practice
- Strong leadership and project delivery track record
- Experience across multiple sectors (as above) preferred
- Excellent design, technical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MicroStation and Revit
