An award-winning global restaurant group based in central London is searching for an in-house Associate Interior Designer. Recognised for their unique dining experiences and critically acclaimed menus this is an opportunity to join an extremely talented and creative team delivering timeless but contemporary luxury F&B projects. This is a permanent position based 5 days in the office and would involve frequent international travel. With a huge expansion plan in motion for the USA this is a client-side opportunity seeking a highly experienced designer with excellent design and management skills to deliver meticulously considered restaurants.

Job Description for this Associate Interior Designer Role

  • Lead and coordinate a team of designers
  • Pitch design presentations and work in a creative and fast-paced environment
  • Manage interior design projects from start to finish with various teams.
  • Handle interior and spatial design tasks, including renovations and furnishings.
  • Liaise with designers on space planning, layout, and color coordination.
  • Collaborate with external design studios.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and technical teams for project success.
  • Overlook the FF&E, finishes, soft furnishings, styling, and lighting proposals.
  • Provide regular project updates and progress reports.
  • Approve and ensure correct design packages and documentation.
  • Oversee proficient mood and material boards for client presentations.
  • Provide commercial and strategic input
  • Travel across the UK and internationally for research, site visits and installations

Skills Necessary for this Associate Interior Designer Role

  • Effective presentation abilities, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the hospitality and F&B sector.
  • Confident in delivering projects through concept to completion.
  • Excellent technical skills and understanding of FFE design & procurement
  • Highly efficient and proactive management abilities.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and updated on industry trends
  • Must have on site experience.
  • A degree in Interior Design / Architecture or equivalent
