Associate Interior Designer
Are you an Associate Interior Designer or experienced Interior Designer with a passion for turning residential concepts into beautifully executed spaces? We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual to join a fast-paced studio that’s been delivering exceptional design for nearly a decade.
As an Associate at this growing London-based studio, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving high-end residential projects from concept to completion. If you thrive under pressure, can manage teams and timelines, and have a natural flair for client-facing communication, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the on-site management and execution of 2-3 residential projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with the design vision
- Work closely with senior leadership to manage project budgets, critical paths, and resources
- Be the main point of contact for clients, guiding them through the design process professionally and efficiently
- Supervise the FF&E process from procurement to installation, maintaining design quality
- Lead project teams, including internal designers, freelancers, and external partners
- Maintain a strong presence on-site during final project phases, managing snagging and quality checks
- Prioritise tasks, delegate when needed, and adhere to project deadlines
- Prepare, manage, and track project specifications, drawings, procurement plans, and schedules
- Travel internationally as required
Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years of experience managing residential projects end-to-end, with a focus on final stages and on-site delivery
- Strong project management skills including time management, budget control, and team leadership
- Proven ability to manage teams handling FF&E, procurement, and installations
- Experience with Vectorworks
- Excellent client, contractor, supplier, and team communication skills
- Willingness to take ownership across all project stages
- An entrepreneurial mindset
