Bid Operations Manager
Built Environment | Bid Operations | PQQ and Pre-Qualification | Central London
We are partnering with a leading organisation in the built environment sector to appoint a Bid Operations Manager focused on early-stage bidding activity.
In this role, you will manage all pre-qualification and early-stage submissions, ensuring they are accurate, compliant and delivered on time. You will lead the preparation of PQQs and supplier questionnaires while maintaining high-quality, consistent documentation.
You will oversee a Bid Administrator and take ownership of the bid content library, ensuring CVs, case studies and supporting materials are up to date and effective. You will also develop tailored credentials packs and support continuous improvement of bid processes and templates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and completion of PQQs, supplier questionnaires and early-stage bid documents
- Oversee the Bid Administrator, providing guidance, quality control and professional development
- Maintain and develop the bid content library, ensuring CVs, case studies and policies are up to date and high quality
- Develop tailored credentials packs and capability documents to support new business opportunities
- Ensure all pre-tender documents are consistent, accurate and delivered on time
- Support the Head of Bids in refining processes, templates and internal workflows
The Successful Candidate
- Experience leading PQQ and credential submissions
- Strong knowledge of early-stage bid processes and supplier questionnaires
- Excellent written communication, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Experience in construction, fit-out or the built environment
- Experience using InDesign or other design and layout software
- Familiarity with AI-supported drafting tools
