BIM Coordinator Role Summary:

A celebrated, design-led practice is on the lookout for a forward-thinking BIM Coordinator with strong computational design skills to support their growing portfolio of high-end global projects. Based in beautifully designed studios in West London, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about digital innovation in architecture.

The BIM Coordinator Role:

You’ll play a key role in the coordination and delivery of BIM standards across the practice. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll provide hands-on support across all project stages, championing best practice in digital workflows and contributing to ongoing innovation in the studio’s approach.

This role is ideal for someone who loves both problem-solving and collaboration, and who thrives in a creative environment where quality and detail matter.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the setup, management and maintenance of Revit models and associated BIM documentation
  • Provide one-on-one training and group workshops to upskill teams in BIM processes
  • Develop and support interoperability workflows between Revit, Rhino, and AutoCAD
  • Use Dynamo and/or Grasshopper to support scripting and automation tasks
  • Author and maintain BIM Execution Plans and related documentation
  • Coordinate with consultants to ensure high-quality BIM deliverables
  • Participate in project kick-off meetings, defining BIM strategies from day one
  • Support clash detection and QA processes across large-scale schemes
  • Contribute to the upkeep and evolution of the practice’s BIM standards and libraries
  • Constantly look for ways to improve digital workflows and efficiency

About You:

  • Degree-qualified in Architecture or Architectural Technology
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a BIM-focused role within large-scale architecture projects
  • Advanced Revit skills, including BIM360 and relevant plug-ins
  • Confident integrating complex Rhino geometry into Revit workflows
  • Scripting knowledge (Dynamo and/or Grasshopper) is a strong plus
  • Comfortable navigating legacy CAD workflows
  • Experience with CDEs and BIM QA/validation processes
  • Previous work on international projects desirable
