BIM Manager Role Summary
An international multi-disciplinary practice is seeking a skilled BIM Manager with experience working on complex projects in KSA and the Middle East. The practice is known for their innovative designs across various sectors, including Cultural, Masterplanning, Mixed-use, Commercial and Hospitality. As BIM Manager, you will be leading an international team of BIM specialists. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale projects in KSA and the wider Middle East region.
BIM Manager Role Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the BIM team across multiple, large-scale projects in KSA, ensuring all project stages follow the highest BIM standards.
Oversee the development, coordination, and delivery of BIM models using the US BIM system (Revit, Navisworks, etc.).
Ensure seamless collaboration between different stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, ensuring smooth integration of BIM processes across all teams.
Take responsibility for the successful implementation of BIM protocols, standards, and workflows, including project set-up, data management, and quality assurance.
Develop and monitor project schedules, timelines, and budgets for BIM-related activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Work closely with the project management and engineering teams to identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the modelling and design process.
Provide leadership, training, and guidance to junior and mid-level BIM team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations and contractual protocols, providing expert advice where needed.
Stay up to date with the latest developments in BIM technology, trends, and methodologies to ensure innovative and effective practices are being employed.
BIM Manager Role Requirements:
Fluent in Revit with a solid background in complex projects, including large residential towers.
Experience in the MENA region, specifically KSA, is essential.
Candidates should be accustomed to working with demanding clients, navigating contractual protocols, and delivering high-quality technical solutions.
Prior experience using the US BIM system.
