Branded Environments Project Architect Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all facets of the design process, ensuring project success while adhering to firm and project goals
  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of branding and storytelling, with a specific focus on retail environments
  • Contribute to marketing efforts, lead client presentations, and nurture client relationships in the vibrant city of London
  • Lead, direct, and mentor team members, leveraging your architectural skills to enhance the retail design experience
  • Plan, execute, and document design strategies, brand identity, storytelling, brand architecture, and environmental branding for retail spaces
  • Influence design elements using principles such as form, scale, colour, texture, pattern, balance, composition, and proportion
  • Participate in site analysis, implementing a creative approach to complete tasks within the project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Engage in internal design reviews, charettes, pin-ups, and external community engagements, bringing a fresh perspective to retail design in London
  • Demonstrate effective communication, inspiring high team performance and design ideas within the architectural and retail design realm
  • Mentor staff, ensuring work accuracy, omissions, legibility, and document compliance with the Project Delivery Manual
  • Coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, partners, and consultants throughout the retail design process, utilizing your architect and designer skills

Skills and Qualifications Necessary for this Branded Environments Project Architect Role

  • ARB Qualification Required
  • Proficiency in interior architecture, including building codes, site analysis, preliminary design studies, contract documents, life safety requirements, and specifications
  • Expertise in Environmental Graphic Design with a focus on retail spaces, encompassing brand strategy, storytelling, copywriting, art direction, identity design, graphic design conceptualisation, and vendor selection
  • Production Artistry skills, covering material research, dimensioning/detailing, specifications, sampling, and construction coordination
  • Knowledge of Revit, ensuring a seamless integration of technology into the architectural and retail design process
