Key Responsibilities of this Business Development Manager Role

Identifying New Business Opportunities:
  • Research and identify new markets, growth areas, and potential customers.
  •  Develop strategies to target new business opportunities.
 Building and Maintaining Client Relationships:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
  • Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, pitches, and proposals.
Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  • Analyse data to identify opportunities and threats.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and execute business development plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align business goals.
Networking and Partnerships:
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to build professional connections.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances.
Team Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to ensure alignment.
  • Lead and mentor junior business development staff.
Proposal and Contract Management:
  •  Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and agreements with clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
  • Monitor and report on business development activities and performance.
  • Use KPIs and metrics to assess the success of strategies and initiatives.
