The Role
As Design Director, you’ll lead the creative vision of the David Harber brand, blending artistry with commercial awareness to deliver elegant, thoughtful designs. You’ll represent the brand with confidence, storytelling flair, and creative authority within the luxury design world.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present new design concepts and bespoke client proposals.
- Act as brand spokesperson, embodying the creative vision.
- Lead multiple projects from concept to proposal, meeting all deadlines.
- Guide and inspire the creative team to deliver design excellence.
- Explore materials, finishes, and construction methods to elevate design quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and enhance existing products.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Visual or Product Design (or related field).
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior design leadership role.
- Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Confident in both hand-sketching and digital design development.
- Knowledge of classical, contemporary, and current design trends.
- Collaborative, open to feedback, and skilled at motivating creative teams.
