The Role

The practice is seeking an experienced Part II Architectural Assistant to join its St Albans team, working primarily on education-sector projects. You’ll help shape inspiring, high-quality learning environments while gaining hands-on experience across multiple stages of design and delivery.

You’ll collaborate closely with architects, designers and the in-house sustainability team, contributing to projects that place students, teachers and communities at the heart of the design process.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with concept design, technical stages and project delivery for education schemes

  • Produce coordinated drawings and models in Revit

  • Contribute to user-focused design discussions and stakeholder engagement

  • Support research, detailing, materials and presentation outputs

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including sustainability specialists

  • Uphold the studio’s commitment to low-carbon, socially responsible architecture

About You

  • Experienced Part II Architectural Assistant

  • Proficient in Revit, with demonstrable project experience

  • Passionate about education design and creating inspiring learning environments

  • Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills

  • Proactive, enthusiastic and keen to grow within a supportive, collaborative studio

  • Interested in sustainable, low-energy design principles
