A leading luxury interior design studio based in West London is looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join their dynamic team. Known for delivering highly bespoke interiors for ultra-high-net-worth clients, the studio offers an exceptional opportunity for a designer who combines strong creative vision with technical expertise.
This is a full-time, studio-based role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment and is confident leading residential projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the design and delivery of high-end residential projects, ensuring both creative excellence and technical precision
- Work closely with the Creative Director to develop and refine the design vision across all stages
- Confidently manage both the interior architecture and FF&E aspects of a project, from early concept to installation
- Mentor and manage junior and mid-weight designers, providing direction and fostering growth
- Take ownership of drawing packages, project programmes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring seamless coordination across teams
- Liaise directly with clients and contractors, presenting design proposals and managing expectations with clarity and professionalism
- Maintain supplier relationships, source materials, and stay informed of the latest industry trends and innovations
- Ensure every project meets the studio’s high standards of quality and design integrity
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 2+ years in a Senior Interior Designer position (Associate level also considered)
- Extensive experience in high-end residential design, with a portfolio that demonstrates both creative and technical ability
- Skilled in managing complex project workflows and team coordination
- Strong knowledge of FF&E and interior architectural detailing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; confident in producing drawing packages and hand sketching when needed
- Comfortable working alongside a Creative Director and confident in communicating your own ideas
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of working within budget and time constraints
- Experience in client-facing roles with the ability to represent the studio with professionalism and confidence
