This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and commercially aware FF&E designer who loves crafting beautiful interiors across hospitality, commercial and international projects.

You’ll work closely with senior team members, take ownership of your workstreams, and contribute to delivering award-winning schemes to the highest industry standards.

The Role

You will support the project lead while taking responsibility for your own areas of design delivery. This role is ideal for an organised, hands-on designer who thrives in a fast-paced studio and enjoys full involvement across FF&E concept, specification, documentation and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute creative ideas to conceptual design, research and scheme development.

  • Sketch and produce CAD drawings to support design concepts.

  • Create beautiful presentations, including moodboards and supporting material.

  • Source and purchase presentation materials, samples and FF&E items.

  • Select furniture, lighting, carpets, fixtures, finishes and bespoke elements.

  • Develop specifications, schedules, sample boards, control books and design documentation.

  • Meet suppliers and manufacturers, staying up-to-date with materials, finishes and industry trends.

  • Attend client meetings, supplier visits, contractor sessions and occasional UK or overseas travel.

  • Maintain and organise the materials and sample library.

  • Promote continuous learning and recommend relevant CPD sessions.

  • Work to deadlines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Complete weekly timesheets and submit expenses in line with studio processes.

What you’ll bring

  • Excellent design knowledge and a strong creative eye.

  • Ability to develop design concepts with technical and commercial awareness.

  • Proficiency in FF&E scheduling, MS Office, PowerPoint and ideally Spexx.

  • Strong understanding of finishes, materials and commercial suppliers.

  • Knowledge of fire regulations relevant to hospitality, commercial and/or marine sectors.

  • Great communication skills and confidence working with demanding clients and tight timeframes.

  • A solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to work well in a team and take direction.
