FF and E Interior Designer Role Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and creative FF and E Interior Designer to play a key role in designing and delivering high-end projects. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring that every element of FF&E is seamlessly integrated into the overall design vision. From concept to installation, you’ll have the chance to bring stunning interiors to life, making a lasting impact in the world of Build to Rent developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Select and specify FF&E, materials, and finishes to align with the design concept and project requirements.
- Manage project budgets while ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Develop bespoke joinery designs tailored to each project.
- Confidently present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source and procure materials.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals throughout the design process.
- Oversee the installation and final styling of FF&E projects, including dressing show flats and amenity spaces.
- Support professional photography and project documentation.
Skills & Experience
- Passion for FF&E, design, art, and aesthetics.
- Strong knowledge of interior architecture and FF&E specifications.
- Confident, creative, and able to present ideas effectively.
- Excellent supplier knowledge and ability to manage procurement.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience.
- Experience in high-end residential or Build to Rent projects is a plus.
