Library Resourcing Manager Role Summary:

A prestigious, high-end residential interior design studio in Bahrain is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Library Resourcing Manager to join their growing, dynamic team. With a renowned client base comprising Ultra High Net-Worth Individuals (UHWNI), this studio boasts a remarkable 30-year portfolio, specialising in bespoke luxury residential projects steeped in French heritage design. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Systems: Create, implement, and manage efficient information systems for the storage and retrieval of soft and hard finishes samples, literature, and technical information. This includes both physical and digital files, brochures, catalogues, reference documentation, and supplier details. Your organisation will ensure that the team has quick access to relevant materials when needed.
- Support the Design Teams: Work closely with the architectural and FF&E design teams, assisting in sourcing and procuring the finest materials for ongoing projects, including artwork. Your expertise will be crucial in selecting the perfect finishes and pieces to bring the team’s vision to life.
- Research and Innovation: Continuously explore new suppliers, materials, and innovative applications to elevate the studio’s offerings. Your proactive approach will ensure the studio stays at forefront of design trends.
- Engage with Suppliers: Arrange and attend supplier meetings, presentations, trade fairs, and industry events. As the key point of contact for material sourcing, you will bring fresh, exciting, and high-quality products to the team, enhancing their design capabilities.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an FF&E and Materials Librarian role for a luxury interior design studio.
- Experience working on high-end private residential projects in the Middle East.
- Experience and knowledge of artwork and sourcing for high-end residential VVIP villas in Bahrain.
- A natural eye for design, colour and materiality
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – comfortable dealing with both internal teams and external suppliers
