This award-winning British studio is renowned for delivering world-class private residential, hospitality and yacht projects across the UK, the Middle East and other global UHNW hubs.

This is a varied and nuanced role, ideal for someone with at least three years’ bookkeeping or finance experience who enjoys balancing financial precision with hands-on studio support. Reporting to the Fractional Finance Director and Operations Director, you will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase ledger activity, supplier onboarding and payment preparation
  • Raise and reconcile client invoices, credit notes and billing trackers
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow visibility
  • Support payroll processing and month-end close, including journals and VAT coordination
  • Maintain robust digital filing systems across finance and studio documentation
  • Oversee expenses and provide day-to-day administrative support to the wider team

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • 3+ years’ experience in a bookkeeping, finance executive or accounts role
  • Strong understanding of AP, AR, bank reconciliations and month-end processes
  • High proficiency in Xero and Excel (including reconciliations, trackers and reporting summaries)
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a process-driven mindset
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines without compromising accuracy
  • A professional, discreet and trustworthy approach to handling confidential information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • A proactive, intuitive attitude and the ability to anticipate needs
  • Comfort working within a fast-paced creative or design-led environment

Experience within a creative agency, design studio or similar setting would be advantageous, as would familiarity with project tools such as EstiPC and Microsoft 365.

Benefits:

  • Private healthcare
  • Hybrid working
  • Supportive and social studio atmosphere
  • Studio closed over Christmas
  • 22 days annual leave

Location: In the studio in Hertfordshire

Working arrangement: Full time and part time considered. Hybrid working.

Due to a large volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
