Finance & Studio Executive
We are currently partnering with a highly respected luxury design studio who are seeking a Finance & Studio Executive to join their close-knit team in Hertfordshire. This award-winning British studio is renowned for delivering world-class private residential, hospitality and yacht projects across the UK, the Middle East and other global UHNW hubs.
This is a varied and nuanced role, ideal for someone with at least three years’ bookkeeping or finance experience who enjoys balancing financial precision with hands-on studio support. Reporting to the Fractional Finance Director and Operations Director, you will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchase ledger activity, supplier onboarding and payment preparation
- Raise and reconcile client invoices, credit notes and billing trackers
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow visibility
- Support payroll processing and month-end close, including journals and VAT coordination
- Maintain robust digital filing systems across finance and studio documentation
- Oversee expenses and provide day-to-day administrative support to the wider team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- 3+ years’ experience in a bookkeeping, finance executive or accounts role
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, bank reconciliations and month-end processes
- High proficiency in Xero and Excel (including reconciliations, trackers and reporting summaries)
- Exceptional attention to detail with a process-driven mindset
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines without compromising accuracy
- A professional, discreet and trustworthy approach to handling confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- A proactive, intuitive attitude and the ability to anticipate needs
- Comfort working within a fast-paced creative or design-led environment
Experience within a creative agency, design studio or similar setting would be advantageous, as would familiarity with project tools such as EstiPC and Microsoft 365.
