Head of FF and E Role Summary
As Head of FF and E, you’ll take creative and strategic ownership of all furniture, finishes, and styling across the studio’s diverse portfolio. You’ll lead a small, talented team while working closely with the Creative Director and senior designers to deliver beautifully layered, elegant interiors.
You’ll bring a wealth of supplier knowledge, a love for bespoke furniture design, and a keen eye for texture, tone, and craftsmanship. From concept development to final installation, you’ll ensure every detail reflects the studio’s vision and standard of excellence.
Your Responsibilities
- Leading the FF and E department across multiple high-end residential and hospitality projects
- Managing and mentoring junior team members, delegating effectively and fostering collaboration
- Developing and curating FF and E concepts, palettes, and material boards
- Designing and commissioning bespoke furniture, lighting, and joinery pieces
- Overseeing procurement, budgets, and timelines with confidence and precision
- Maintaining and expanding a network of suppliers, artisans, and makers
- Presenting design concepts and selections to clients with clarity and creativity
- Sourcing antiques, vintage pieces, and unique objects that bring depth and character to each project
About You
You’re an experienced, confident FF and E professional with impeccable taste and a love for detail. You understand how to balance beauty, function, and narrative within each design.
You’ll bring:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in FF and E roles within high-end residential or hospitality design
- Proven experience leading FF and E teams or managing multiple projects
- Excellent supplier relationships and extensive product knowledge
- A refined eye for antiques, textiles, lighting, and bespoke furniture design
- Strong organisational and communication skills – both with clients and your team
- A hands-on, proactive approach and genuine passion for beautifully made things
