Head of Interior Design Role Summary
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Head of Interior Design to join a globally renowned luxury hospitality group, known for delivering world-class dining experiences. Based in Dubai, this pivotal leadership role oversees the creative direction and execution of iconic restaurant environments across an international portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design vision, strategy, and creative output for all new openings, refurbishments, and brand evolutions across global locations
- Own the entire interior design process from concept to completion, ensuring each space reflects the brand’s distinct identity and elevated guest experience
- Build and lead a high-performing in-house design team while managing relationships with external studios, consultants, and suppliers
- Champion the integration of local culture and context into global brand guidelines to create unique, place-sensitive designs
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, including operations, marketing, and development teams
- Manage design budgets, project timelines, and delivery standards across multiple simultaneous projects
- Curate FF&E, materials, and bespoke elements that reflect a refined and luxurious hospitality aesthetic
- Bring innovation and inspiration to each project by staying ahead of global design trends, sustainability, and emerging technologies
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in interior design or architecture, with a proven track record in luxury hospitality environments (restaurants, hotels, or high-end retail)
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering high-profile projects internationally
- Strong conceptual thinker with exceptional attention to detail and a deep understanding of brand storytelling through design
- Highly skilled in spatial planning, FF&E, materials sourcing, and on-site coordination
- Culturally curious with the ability to adapt global standards to local contexts
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools
- Confident communicator and natural leader with the ability to influence at board level
