High-end Residential Part II Architect Role Summary
London | 3 days per week | Start ASAP | Minimum 6 months
A London-based interior design studio known for delivering refined, high-end residential projects is seeking a Part II Architect with a strong interest in interiors to join the team on a part-time contract basis.
The studio specialises in carefully crafted homes where architecture and interiors are closely integrated. Projects emphasise materiality, bespoke furniture, joinery and thoughtful detailing, and move fluidly from early concept through to installation in collaboration with architects, makers and specialist suppliers.
This role is ideal for an architect who enjoys working at the intersection of architecture and interiors, contributing creatively while also supporting the technical delivery of beautifully executed spaces.
The Role
Working closely with the studio lead and architectural team, you will support projects from early concept stages (RIBA Stage 0 onward) through to technical development, procurement and installation.
The role includes a mix of design development and technical detailing, with particular involvement in bespoke joinery, kitchens, furniture and interior architectural elements.
You will contribute to design concepts, prepare drawings in Vectorworks, and develop interior architectural drawing packages.
The position offers a balance of approximately 60% technical work and 40% design, making it well suited to someone who enjoys both creative thinking and detailed project delivery.

3+ years of professional experience (Part II level)
Experience within high-end residential architecture or interior design studios
Strong design sensibility with a clear interest in interiors
Experience developing bespoke joinery, kitchens, carpentry and furniture elements
Proficiency in Vectorworks and Adobe Creative Suite
Comfortable contributing across concept design, detailing and delivery
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
