HR Executive Role Summary

A leading London-based interior design and architecture studio is seeking a proactive HR Executive to join its growing team. Renowned for delivering exceptional luxury residential, commercial, retail and development projects, the business is looking for a HR professional who is passionate about people, culture and creating an outstanding employee experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the HR function within a collaborative and creative environment, working closely with senior leadership to shape people strategy as the business continues to grow. You’ll play a key role across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring HR operations run smoothly while helping to foster a high-performing and engaging workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding and HR administration.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing practical advice and support to managers and employees.
  • Develop, maintain and implement HR policies and procedures in line with UK employment legislation and CIPD best practice.
  • Partner with hiring managers to deliver end-to-end recruitment and support workforce planning.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, supporting managers with reviews, development plans and employee engagement.
  • Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion and confidence.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance company culture, wellbeing and employee engagement.
  • Produce HR reports and metrics to support business decision-making.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the office, working alongside the Executive Assistant and Finance team to create a welcoming and efficient workplace.

About You:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified with previous experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Confident managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced, creative or agency environment.
  • Commercially minded with excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Highly organised, discreet and committed to delivering an exceptional employee experience.
