Your Mission as the HR Manager

As the HR Manager, you will lead the HR function, playing a pivotal role in fostering the studio’s culture, guiding development, orchestrating organizational dynamics, and steering recruitment. You will manage all employee-related processes in London while also providing support to our New York studio as needed.

Key Responsibilities for this HR Manager Role

General HR Management: Offer HR guidance and support to the management team. Maintain effective communication with the New York HR Assistant. Organize regular HR and management meetings. Manage annual leave, disciplinary actions, and redundancies. Collaborate on succession planning and address special HR situations. Ensure the morale of staff is high and facilitate open communication between management and staff. Coordinate HR-related updates with the Financial Controller.

Resignations, Dismissals, and Terminations: Handle resignations, dismissals, and terminations, ensuring compliance with studio policies. Lead performance concern discussions and execute exit interviews.

Appraisals, Compensation, and Promotions: Coordinate appraisal processes for London-based employees. Conduct reviews and recommend actions for development or promotions. Manage salary reviews, compensation spreadsheets, and bonus allocations.

Recruitment: Spearhead the recruitment process to ensure alignment with the studio’s culture. Manage the induction, documentation, and compensation processes. Oversee probation periods to ensure successful employee onboarding.
