We’re on the lookout for a dynamic HR Manager to join a thriving interiors, furniture and accessories designer and antiques dealer in London. This role calls for someone with a knack for proactive problem-solving, empathy, and a genuine passion for fostering positive employee experiences. As the go-to person for all things HR, you’ll need a background in generalist HR functions, ideally within a creative environment. Building strong relationships across the creative studio and championing their unique company culture are key elements of this role.

About this HR Manager role

  • Crafting and implementing effective HR strategies, systems, and procedures.
  • Providing guidance and support to the Studio Administrator.
  • Collaborating with managers to navigate employee relations issues.
  • Cultivating a positive workplace culture and acting as a company culture ambassador.
  • Assisting with recruitment activities alongside hiring managers.
  • Overseeing seamless onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Managing internal communications, including monthly company updates.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries and grievances.
  • Facilitating annual performance reviews.
  • Monitoring monthly payroll information.
  • Handling the studio team’s timesheets and compiling monthly summaries.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supporting staffing planning and team member development initiatives.
  • Investigating and addressing any complaints or disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Undertaking additional HR-related tasks as required.
