Interior Architect Role Summary
Our client is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Interior Architect to join their creative, supportive and friendly team. They are a vibrant, design-led and fast-growing interior design and architecture studio based in a South West London borough. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to think strategically, develop well-resolved spatial solutions and communicate design intent with clarity and confidence. You’ll be involved from concept through to completion, so a balance of creativity, technical ability and project ownership is essential.
Key Responsibilities
As an Interior Architect, you will be:
Managing and running your own projects, taking full ownership from early concept to final completion
Presenting digital and physical design work confidently to clients and the wider team
Leading site visits, solving problems proactively and protecting the design vision throughout
Coordinating fit-out teams to ensure design intent, budget and programme are met
Preparing detailed specification schedules for lighting, sanitaryware, finishes and joinery
Supporting the team during busy periods and contributing positively to the studio’s collaborative culture
What You’ll Need
Minimum 4 years’ experience in interior design or architecture, supported by a relevant degree
Strong skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Suite
Proven ability to produce highly detailed drawings and custom design features
Excellent technical understanding — including joinery detailing, buildability, spatial planning and interior architecture
Confidence in translating client vision into functional, elegant and cohesive spaces
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
A polished eye for detail and professional presentation skills
Positive attitude, strong communication ability and a genuine passion for design
