An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interior Designer to join a leading commercial workspace design team in Central London. This 12-month contract role is a maternity cover, offering the chance to manage projects from concept through to completion. The role provides flexibility with a hybrid working arrangement—three days in the office and two days working from home.
Key Responsibilities for this Interior Designer Role
Lead the design of commercial workspaces, from initial concept to final completion
Create space plans, detailed drawings, and design layouts
Produce rendered elevations and plans to effectively communicate design ideas
Select materials, source products, and present options to clients
Manage project budgets and provide accurate quotations
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, functional designs
Skills and Qualifications of this Interior Designer Role
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
Extensive experience in managing commercial workspace designs from start to finish
Expertise in space planning, material selection, rendering, and budget management
British passport or British citizenship required
