Join a diverse group of companies in the travel, hospitality, design, and technology sectors. As the sole IT engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing essential IT infrastructure across 3 companies. From ensuring security to optimising performance, you’ll be at the forefront of technology, contributing to the success and protection of the businesses.

Role Objectives of this IT Engineer Role

This is a standalone role and your primary goal is to fortify the businesses through technology, driving proactive improvements in security, performance, and control frameworks. By identifying and resolving issues efficiently, you’ll anticipate and meet company requirements effectively. Operating at the intersection of creativity and technology, you’ll oversee operating systems, data security, hardware, and servers, ensuring seamless IT operations across our diverse ventures.

Key Requirements for this IT Engineer Role

  • Working in the London office 5 days a week, you’ll be responsible for all operating systems, data security, hardware, and servers across the companies.
  • Work to support and manage the day-to-day IT activities through the helpdesk ticketing system.

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • A strong problem-solver and troubleshooter
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, remote desktop software and Autopilot, Cloud storage, rendering system and nodes, and gaming platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing environments across physical, virtualised and cloud technologies, ensuring seamless integration.

Key Tasks in the IT Engineer Role

  • Timely completion of weekly timesheets.
  • Submit any company expense as per company expenses policy.
  • Facilitating the onboarding and offboarding processes for hardware and software.
  • Handling hardware and software setup for facilities.
  • Conducting colour grading for monitors and printers.
  • Maintaining and supporting group assets, including hardware and software.
  • Proactive monitoring, backup, and restoration of data to uphold system integrity.
  • Maintaining the security and high availability of IT infrastructure while monitoring performance.
  • Managing vendor relationships, outsourcing agreements, and service level agreements related to IT systems.
  • Efficiently operating the internal Service Desk.
  • Contributing to internal and business-wide projects, policies, and procedures.
  • Troubleshooting service outages and providing root cause analysis.
  • Implementing and managing access controls, backups, and firewalls to ensure security.
  • Providing support remotely and on-site, including outside regular working hours as needed.
