Junior/Midweight Wayfinding Designer
An international design agency is seeking a junior – midweight Wayfinding Designer to join their team in London. The successful candidate will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, working across different sectors including healthcare, culture, transport, aviation, and sport.
Junior/Midweight Wayfinding Designer Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of multiple design projects (UK and international) from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with design briefs, schedules, and budgets.
- Produce designs, drawings, schedules, guidelines, and specifications at the conceptual, tender, and construction stages.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop collateral and content that promote the company’s work.
- Contribute to the design of submissions for bids on new projects.
- Develop strategies for flow and wayfinding information.
- Audit sign placements, planning, and content scheduling.
- Carry out user testing and prototyping.
- Production-ready artwork.
About You
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in wayfinding design
- Have a portfolio showcasing your wayfinding work, showing specifications, schedules, drawings, and designs
- Be passionate about wayfinding and human-centred design
- An expert using Adobe Creative Suite
- Be a collaborative team-player and be able to work autonomously
- Based in the UK
