Summary

A leading architectural practice is hiring a personal assistant to join its London team. They are looking for a permanent and full time Junior personal assistant who will support the director as well as social media uploads.

Job description for the PA role:

The ideal candidate will act as a gatekeeper for the director. They will coordinate the director’s diary and time. Specifically, manage all correspondence such as emails, letters, and phones. Additionally, you will draft responses and reminders.

This person will prepare, prioritise and manage tasks for the director. They will also compile invoices and expenses as well as coordinate events, interviews, conferences, and talks. Also, work closely with the communications team on press related matters.

This person will organise social events, upload to all social media channels as well as manage social media content along with directors.

Skills necessary:

Firstly, the practice is looking for a confident, professional, and self-motivated individual. Someone who is able to think ahead and anticipate needs before they arise. Secondly, they need to have excellent communication and organisational skills.

Attention to detail is key. They should also be able to work on their own initiative confidently, with limited supervision. They must be adaptable, calm under pressure, and have a sense of humour.

Furthermore, you must be able to deal with sensitive and confidential information. Absolute discretion is key.

Additionally, you should be proactive in building strong relationships. Lastly, trust colleagues at all levels of management and have an interest in architecture, art, and food.
