Summary

A well established innovative Architecture practice is looking for a talented Junior to Mid Technical Interior Designer. This person will join their interiors team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate should also have proven experience in either High End Residential and/or Hospitality interiors. To fit this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience as well as strong technical abilities.

Job description:

The role will join a talented team. It includes designers, architects as well as specialist consultants. This person will create and present high level technical presentations with support from a senior designer. Furthermore, they will communicate design ideas using a variety of media.

The chosen person will use their interest in interior trends as well as their passion for high quality materials and details across projects. Additionally, you will as a team, produce tender packages. Specifically, technical drawings and bespoke joinery items.

In order to be successful in this role, you must be able to organise project documentation and work to timelines and budgets.

Lastly, you must attend internal meetings on a regular basis as well as site visits when required. you should also be able to work well as a team or individually.

Skills necessary:

To be successful in this Junior or Midweight Designer role, you must have over 2 years of UK proven design experience. Preferable in luxury residential or hospitality sectors. Also, you must hold a Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar.

You should have a good understanding of delivering technical drawing packages. This includes bespoke detailing and joinery. Also, you must be able to communicate design ideas. Specifically but not limited to hand sketches or other illustration skills.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have good communication and presentation skills as well as experience working on UK projects. The practice is looking for someone with a positive and proactive outlook. Also, someone with experience using Revit on a live project. Lastly, experience with software such as InDesign, Sketch Up and Photoshop are all very beneficial.
