Lead Interior Designer Role Summary
We’re looking for a lead interior designer to work with a design studio known for its beautifully crafted, experience-led interiors in the luxury hospitality world – think refined detail, bold concepts, and unforgettable spaces. With a growing portfolio of standout F&B projects, they’re looking for a Senior Interior Designer to take the reins on multiple schemes from concept to completion.

The Role
You’ll lead the full design process, from initial concept and mood boards through to technical delivery, tender packages, site coordination, and final styling. You’ll also play a key leadership role, overseeing a small team, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring the creative vision stays intact right through to handover.
No hand-offs here – you’ll be part of every phase, with the autonomy to shape the design and the trust to deliver it.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of high-end F&B and hospitality projects
- Create and manage drawing packages in AutoCAD
- Take ownership of project timelines, drawing issues, and consultant coordination
- Guide and mentor 2+ junior designers through project stages
- Contribute to client presentations and site meetings
- Develop strong concepts and follow them through to detail, specification, and on-site execution
- Work collaboratively across the studio – FF&E, joinery, detailing, and finishes are shared responsibilities
What They’re Looking For
- 8+ years’ experience in interior design, with a focus on hospitality and F&B projects
- Strong portfolio showing work from concept through to completion
- Excellent AutoCAD skills – you’ll be hands-on with technical drawings and detailing
- Comfortable managing teams and driving project delivery
- All-rounder mindset – ready to roll up your sleeves on everything from FF&E to site snagging
- A confident communicator with strong client and consultant coordination experience
