We are partnering with a leading London-based architecture practice to appoint a Marketing and Business Development Manager. This award-winning studio is widely recognised for its design-led approach, delivering high-quality master planning, housing and mixed-use projects across the UK and internationally. This is a pivotal role focused on driving the practice’s growth, visibility and work-winning strategy.
Role Overview
- Lead and drive business development and marketing strategy to support sustainable growth
- Identify, secure and convert new business opportunities across public and private sectors
- Strengthen brand positioning across architecture, urbanism and design sectors
- Build and maintain a strong client and collaborator network across the UK and internationally
- Support senior leadership in strategic growth initiatives and market visibility
- Integrate marketing, communications and bid management into a cohesive function
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Work Winning
- Identify and track new opportunities including tenders, frameworks and competitions
- Lead end-to-end bid processes including strategy, coordination and submission delivery
- Develop tailored win strategies aligned with practice strengths
- Maintain a live pipeline and support fee proposals and negotiations
Marketing and Brand Strategy
- Develop and implement a practice-wide marketing strategy
- Oversee production of portfolios, presentations and digital content
- Manage website and social media presence
- Ensure consistency of brand identity and messaging
Client Relationship Management and Networking
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
- Manage CRM systems and client engagement pipelines
- Represent the practice at events, conferences and industry forums
Market Research and Strategy
- Monitor industry trends, competitors and emerging opportunities
- Provide insights to leadership and identify new growth sectors
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, marketing or bids within the built environment
- Strong track record of winning work and managing submissions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organised with strong commercial awareness
Location: Central London
Working arrangement: Hybrid (2 days working from home)
