Mid-Level Architectural Technician Role Summary:
Location: Sussex / Crawley
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum
Hybrid Working: 1 day in-office (Tuesday or Wednesday) + flexible hours

HAUS Careers is proud to be representing a respected and forward-thinking architectural practice based in Sussex, currently seeking a Mid-Level Architectural Technician to join their growing remediation and retrofit team.
This established practice is expanding due to an ever-increasing pipeline of cladding remediation and retrofit projects, responding to the urgent need for safer and more energy-efficient buildings. Their specialist team is recognised as one of the UK’s leading authorities in this sector, making this an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious technician to gain hands-on experience and learn from the best.
The Role:
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-profile remediation and retrofit projects, working on technical packages through RIBA Stage 4.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce detailed tender and construction documentation using Revit
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations
Collaborate effectively within a proactive team environment
Support cladding remediation and retrofit upgrades to residential developments
Coordinate with consultants and contractors during technical delivery phases
What We’re Looking For:
3–5 years of UK-based industry experience
Strong technical knowledge, particularly in RIBA Stage 4
Excellent working knowledge of Revit
Good understanding of current Building Regulations
Experience with cladding remediation or retrofit is a bonus, but not essential
MCAI(T) membership or working towards it
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused
