Mid-weight Interior Designer Role Summary

An award-winning London-based interior design studio is seeking a Mid-weight Interior Designer to join its dynamic and collaborative team. With a portfolio spanning restaurants, bars, hotels, members’ clubs, theatres, and private residences, the studio is known for crafting identity-led, immersive environments across the UK and internationally.
This role is ideal for a confident designer who can take ownership of projects, contribute creatively, and support the development of junior team members.
Key responsibilities
Lead and contribute to concept design development under senior guidance
Manage and mentor junior designers on project work
Produce high-quality drawing packages including architectural, joinery, and furniture drawings
Take projects through all stages, from concept to site implementation
Prepare tender packages and coordinate with consultants and suppliers
Oversee project timelines, schedules, and deliverables
Ensure designs comply with UK building regulations
Skills & experience
Minimum 4 years’ professional experience in interior design
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop
Demonstrated experience across all project stages
Ability to work independently and proactively manage workload
Strong technical understanding and detailing ability
Confident communicator with fluent English
Experience in hospitality or high-end residential projects preferred
Must have the right to work in the UK
