Mid-weight Interior Designer Role Summary
A renowned interiors studio, celebrated for its refined and layered approach to classic British design, is on the lookout for a talented Mid-weight Interior Designer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative with 4+ years of experience, particularly in the luxury residential sector, and a genuine appreciation for historic interiors.
The Role
You’ll play a key role across a range of high-end private residential projects — from concept through to completion. This studio champions a close-knit, collaborative approach, so they’re looking for a strong team player who can also thrive when working independently.
You’ll be Responsible for
Taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery
Working across multiple projects at once, ensuring timelines, budgets and client expectations are met
Producing design presentations, drawings, joinery details, and FF&E schedules
Liaising confidently with clients, contractors, suppliers, and trades
Creating mood boards and sample schemes
Managing schedules, procurement and budgets with a proactive mindset
About You
Minimum 4 years post-graduate industry experience
Strong portfolio of luxury residential work, particularly UK-based
Genuine passion for historic interiors and classic British design
Excellent communication and project management skills
Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks
Proficient in AutoCAD, InDesign, and Photoshop
Familiar with EstiMac and Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
Hand drawing skills are a bonus
