Middleweight FF and E Designer Job Description:

  • Conduct research on FF&E design elements, suppliers, and brands.
  • Enhance knowledge of fabrics, materials, furniture, lighting, rugs, accessories, and artwork.
  • Create comprehensive FF&E schedules using budget management software (e.g. Est iMac).
  • Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, manufacturers, and on-site contractors.
  • Collaborate with the Senior FF&E team to develop visual concepts and design direction presentations.
  • Prepare presentation materials for client approvals.
  • Create thoughtful Vectorworks furniture plan layouts and FF&E-related elevations.
  • Assist in managing and organizing the FF&E studio library.
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK

Skills Necessary:

  • A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in luxury residential design.
  • Ability to commute/travel to our Parsons Green office at least 3 times a week or as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Vector Works or AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage project workloads independently.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FF&E furniture, fabrics, and finishes.
  • Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Flexible, proactive attitude with a willingness to contribute to the team as needed.
  • Knowledge of budget management software (e.g., EstiMac) is desirable.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, textile design, or a related field.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
