Middleweight FF and E Designer Job Description:
- Conduct research on FF&E design elements, suppliers, and brands.
- Enhance knowledge of fabrics, materials, furniture, lighting, rugs, accessories, and artwork.
- Create comprehensive FF&E schedules using budget management software (e.g. Est iMac).
- Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, manufacturers, and on-site contractors.
- Collaborate with the Senior FF&E team to develop visual concepts and design direction presentations.
- Prepare presentation materials for client approvals.
- Create thoughtful Vectorworks furniture plan layouts and FF&E-related elevations.
- Assist in managing and organizing the FF&E studio library.
- This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK
Skills Necessary:
- A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in luxury residential design.
- Ability to commute/travel to our Parsons Green office at least 3 times a week or as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Vector Works or AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong visual and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage project workloads independently.
- Demonstrated knowledge of FF&E furniture, fabrics, and finishes.
- Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Flexible, proactive attitude with a willingness to contribute to the team as needed.
- Knowledge of budget management software (e.g., EstiMac) is desirable.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, textile design, or a related field.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
