Job Description for this Middleweight Interior Designer Role

  • Develop projects from concept to completion
  • Create mood boards and prepare presentations
  • Showcase knowledge to current interior and furniture trends
  • Focus on Interior Design and Interior Architecture on hospitality projects
  • Work as part of a team or independently depending on allocated project
  • Manage your time to ensure design deliveries are met at all project stages
  • Apply strong FF&E design skills and experience
  • Select material and specifications selection for allocated projects
  • Produce drawing packages and visuals for allocated projects using Vectorworks and Adobe CS
  • Liaise directly with clients, external consultants and suppliers
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK

Skills Necessary for this Middleweight Interior Designer Role

  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong project and time management skills for handling multiple projects with quick turnaround.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), CAD (preferably Vectorworks), and 3D modeling software like SketchUp, Rhino, or Lumion.
  • Familiarity with specification software like Spexx or Design Spec is advantageous.
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills for client and partner presentations.
  • Collaborative mindset, supporting team members.
  • Creative thinking to drive innovative design solutions.
  • Proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
  • Portfolio showcasing high-level design work.
  • A degree in Interior Design / Architecture or equivalent
