Middleweight Interior Designer Role Summary
A unique opportunity for a Middleweight Interior Designer to join a small, highly creative client-side studio designing a new 5-star luxury lifestyle hotel brand – and much more.
You’ll be working across stunning heritage and contemporary projects, including Grade II listed buildings and Build to Rent schemes, located in the Cotswolds, Sussex, and Portugal. From interiors and landscapes to bespoke crockery and lighting, everything is designed in-house to deliver a complete, immersive experience.
You’ll report to the Senior Designer and Director, with plenty of opportunity to grow, contribute creatively, and take ownership of exciting design packages.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the team in delivering high-end hospitality and residential projects
- Creating moodboards, FF&E specs, and presentation decks
- Assisting with concept design, space planning, and sourcing
- Producing technical drawings and collaborating with consultants
- Attending site visits and supplier meetings
- Working closely with the in-house procurement team on detailed FF&E schedules
What they’re looking for:
- 2–4 years’ experience in high-end interior design, ideally in hospitality or listed buildings
- A keen interest in art, contemporary design, and storytelling through interiors
- A strong eye for colour, texture, and bold material combinations
- Confident with FF&E sourcing, scheduling, and specification
- Technically capable with experience in drawing packs and site coordination
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a fast-paced creative studio
Software Skills:
AutoCAD | InDesign | Photoshop | Excel (for schedules)
