Summary
Our client, a major interdisciplinary practice of architects, designers and engineers, is seeking a talented Middleweight / Senior Interior Designer to join their successful design team in their central London studio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of high-profile projects across various sectors, including workplace, retail, healthcare, heritage, arts and education.
About the role:
As a Middleweight / Senior Interior Designer, you will be exposed to the full scope of the award-winning London practice. You will help to deliver a high standard of comprehensive and integrated building design that has seen our client become a major interdisciplinary practice of architects, designers and engineers. Engaging with, and presenting, to blue-chip clients and stakeholders, you will be part of our 50+ strong design team and helping to drive our direction in a new wave of challenging, high profile projects.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have exceptional design skills and a minimum of five years’ post-degree experience gained with successful design firms. Experience in briefing and stakeholder liaison, concept design development, technical package production and implementation through to on-site experience and post-completion review is also required. Additionally, a good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, SketchUp and InDesign is essential.
A good working knowledge of Revit would be an advantage but training can be provided if necessary. The candidate will need to demonstrate a strong team working ethos and be able to work effectively with people at all levels, from all backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are also a must.
