Midweight FF and E Designer London Role Summary

We’re seeking a sharp, passionate Midweight FF and E Designer to join a thriving, design-led studio. You’ll be a vital part of bringing luxurious, art-infused interiors to life across residential, hospitality, and commercial projects worldwide.
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Directors and Head of FF&E, you’ll champion FF&E, accessories, and art schemes from initial concept right through to installation. Your role spans scheming, sourcing, budgeting, procurement, and styling, always with an eye on quality and the client’s vision.
You’ll:
- Collaborate with creative leaders and clients to define design direction
- Develop mood boards, presentations, and detailed FF&E documentation
- Source and procure bespoke joinery, furniture, lighting, textiles, and art
- Manage budgets and procurement schedules with precision
- Build strong, trusted relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and installation teams
- Demonstrate technical prowess by reviewing and producing detailed drawings for bespoke items
- Oversee smooth installations, ensuring the highest standards are met
Who you are:
- A natural creative with an exceptional eye for scale, colour, detail, and balance
- A confident problem solver with a proactive approach and a genuine passion for design and art
- Someone with great supplier knowledge and a knack for navigating budgets and trade costs
- A team player who thrives working independently or collaboratively, with a friendly, professional manner
- Experienced with basic CAD skills, proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite, and ideally Vectorworks
- Fluent in English with impeccable communication and presentation skills
What you bring:
- 4+ years post-graduate experience, including at least 3 years in luxury residential FF&E, ideally with international projects under your belt
- Strong understanding of FF&E suppliers and procurement processes
- Knowledge of EstiMac, Programa, or similar procurement software a plus
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design or a related creative field
