Midweight FF and E Interior Designer Role Summary

An internationally renowned interior design studio with a strong legacy in luxury hospitality is seeking a Midweight FF and E Interior Designer with hospitality expertise to join their growing London team.

The Midweight FF and E Interior Designer Role

Working closely with senior designers and design leads, the mid-weight designer will play an active role across multiple projects, contributing creative ideas and delivering high-quality FF&E packages with accuracy and flair.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting concept development and contributing to the creative direction of projects.

  • Preparing FF&E mood boards, sourcing materials, and producing specifications and schedules.

  • Assisting with space planning, detailed design, and documentation across project stages.

  • Liaising with suppliers and consultants to ensure seamless execution.

  • Managing procurement processes, from budgeting to delivery and installation.

  • Supporting client presentations and helping to prepare compelling pitch material.

  • Collaborating with the wider design team and contributing to a positive studio culture.

About You

This position suits a driven and detail-oriented designer with a solid background in hospitality interiors and a passion for FF&E.

You will have:

  • A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years’ experience working in a design studio, ideally on luxury hospitality or F&B projects.

  • Strong FF&E knowledge – from sourcing and specification to procurement and installation.

  • Excellent eye for materiality, finishes, and styling, with a creative yet practical approach.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).

  • Great communication and organisational skills, with confidence in presenting ideas.

  • A proactive attitude and a desire to grow within a fast-moving, international team.
